In 2070 there's at least a little more thought that goes into it. I like the added complexity of balancing power supplies and ecobalance with your production chains, in 1404 if you want to increase production of X you just build more X production buildings. I prefer 2070 to 1404, for quite a few reasons. Poil fucked around with this message at 08:28 on Jun 4, 2014 It is very much possible to take (buy) an AI's only spice producing island and a while later you get to laugh with glee as their city is reduced to level 2 once the stores run out (which they WILL do).
Also I really didn't like what they did with the AI islands in 2070, at least in 1404 the AI, while still cheating, actually needs resources and money. 2070 felt a bit dead and empty in comparison. There's people walking around everywhere in the cities, in the fields, etc. I vastly prefer 1404 because it just looks so much better in my opinion and feels much more alive. Hahahaha, your city names complement each other magnificently. While 2070's does look cool 1404 has more baseline charm to it. Here are two pretty basic cities of mine, both are pretty much "Plunk down monument, spend 10minutes on making it pretty". I really like 2070 and you can make some kickass stuff with it but it's harder. Sultan owns, the venetian guy on the other hand can gently caress off.
